Objectives

In these monthly webinars, our technical leads bring general practitioners bang up-to-date on all the news and developments relevant to their practice.

The webinars will prompt practitioners to identify the developments most relevant to their client base and plan the next steps and actions that need to happen, whether to protect against compliance challenges or to harness new business and/or efficiency opportunities.

The next steps or actions might be, for example, allocating a team member as a ‘champion’ to research and roll out a technical change or simply identifying a useful marketing article to send to clients.

Key topics

Our expert technical team and rotating Special Guests will run through the key developments in the month and highlight areas that are on the horizon.

The 20:20 Innovation experts running these sessions will be drawn from:

• Sharon Cooke FCA CTA, Technical Director Tax,
• Dave Norris FCA, Technical Director Audit and Compliance, and
• Billie Mcloughlin ACCA, Practice Consultant and Chair of Tech Talk.

The team will run through the key developments in their area and make sure delegates leave with practical actionable points.

Due to the ‘recent news’ nature of these webinars, the supporting materials will be links to reference sites and resources, rather than detailed course notes. Any slides or agendas used during the session will be provided.

Who should attend

General practice partners and managers with an interest in remaining current across all technical areas, along with the general accounting ecosystem; including AI and technological solutions and news from the key vendors.
